10 Abu Dhabi brunches with pool and beach access

Say goodbye to the beach season with a bang…

To win your brunch use, locations across the city are constantly looking for new ways to improve their weekend deals. And like double act dining, brunch and a dip is a pretty tough collaboration to pimp. It is an expression of pure indulgence – gourmet grazing, lounging, bathing and soaking up the bronzing rays of the sun, available year round in the cloud-free skies of Abu Dhabi.

Strongly agree? These are just some of the best brunch and party deals in Abu Dhabi, which include access to the pool and beach…

Al Maya Island and Resort

Ok so technically no brunch, which we confess – is a rough start, but stick with us – we have our reasons. The popular pool parties at Abu Dhabi’s Al Maya Island & Resort have returned in triumph, and we’re excited – because there’s no rave like a rave where you can bathe. Every Saturday between 10am and 8.30pm, tickets are priced at Dhs250 which includes Dhs100 in food and drink credit and your boat transfers. While ladies can enter for free before noon, including Saturdays, there is a strict policy that all-day guests must be over 21. The ferry service to Al Maya Island departs from a dock near the Presidential Palace. The duration of the boat transfer is between 10 and 15 minutes (depending on the ship and conditions. The cost of the trip is included in your day pass.

Cafe Del Mar

Cafe Del Mar, the outpost of the rave enclave in the UAE, is only a few months old, but it already seems to have built up quite a bit. Ibiza’s lagoon pool, boutique beach and big beats are a rare but very welcome combination for Abu Dhabi’s many vibe-hunters and one of the most popular weekly appointments is the Saturday BBQ pool party. This water party takes place every Saturday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The price of Dhs499 includes free-flow select drinks, unlimited barbecue plates, access to the pool, towels and a sun lounger.

Brand new to the beach brunch scene and brimming with bohemian glamour, the Emirates Palace Saturday Sunset brunch in Las Brisas looks like a very special affair indeed. The party takes place between 5:30 PM and 10:00 PM and includes food and drinks, a beachside campfire, and access to the expansive pool complex. We were told that the drinks will be Latin inspired and the appetizers will take the shape of a ‘pass-through menu† The food offerings are built on a mix of wild opulence and more tested brunch classics. Expect oysters and caviar alongside fish and chips, wagyu burgers, sushi, shrimp tacos and a collection of live grilled dishes.

Name

Sometimes, not always, but sometimes the hype is justified. And for us, Naama more than lives up to the fan-sung celebrations. It scores high on flair, the food on offer is huge, it’s just as strong on the inside as it is on the outside, and the trolley circuits add a lot of finesse to that finishing touch. One of the best and one of our favorites.
