20 Competitive Domestic Cheerleaders Earn CIF Southern Section Honors – Press Enterprise

The CIF Southern Section released its first competitive cheerleading honors earlier this week, and 20 domestic school cheerleaders were recognized in their respective playoff groupings.

Tahquitz captured the Division 1 co-ed section championship this season and had three cheerleaders selected to the Division 1 first team. Summer Heidler, Oliver Terry and Boston Dandan.

That trio in the Division 1 first team included Centennial seniors Kaelyn Ortega and Emma Fisher. Centennial came in second in the Division 1A division.

Temescal Canyon won the Division 2AA team championship this season and had three cheerleaders recognized on the Division 2 first team, Riley Smith, Kylie Hills and McKenzie Cassara. Autumn Crawford was named Division 2 Coach of the Year after leading the Titans to the championship.

Summit claimed the Division 2 co-ed championship and had selected three for the first team: Brianna Vazquez, Elmer Garay and Bonifacio Lopez. Beaumont was the co-ed runner-up of Division 2, having picked two for the first team: Samantha Marin and Yvette McCulloch.

Yucaipa’s Alexis Moreno was also named to the Division 2 first team after helping the Thunderbirds to third place in Division 2AA.

Western Christian’s Elena Ferguson, Claremont’s Ryan Roberts and Grand Terrace’s Madison Osretkar were selected to the first team in Division 3.

West Valley was the co-ed runner-up of Division 4 and had two selected for the first team: Dylanne Kramer and Jennifer Perales. Among them in the first team of Division 4 was Charly Valencia from Paloma Valley
