Marcelo has received several messages from former and current Real Madrid stars to celebrate his career with the Royal Club.
After 16 years, Real Madrid said goodbye to Brazilian fullback Marcelo, captain of the team whose contract expired at the end of the 2021-22 season.
On Monday afternoon, Real Madrid hosted a farewell party for the Brazilian star in the presence of his family, in the presence of Florentino Perez, president of the Royal Club, who gave a speech appreciating Marcelo’s efforts with Real Madrid.

“On and off the pitch he is one of the biggest stars I have had the pleasure of sharing the dressing room with. Give everything for your new adventure, Marcelo.”
