Annual fishing trip turns terrifying when giant shark bites into boat

four Perth fishermen have had the shock of their lives after a bronze whale shark bit their charter boat off the coast Western Australian coast yesterday.

The men’s annual fishing trip took a terrifying turn in Coral Bay when the ten-foot predator tried to swallow their boat’s propeller.

Captain Matt Zen said he never in his “wildest dreams” expected a giant shark to take a bite out of his boat.

“He loved the bike and it hung there for a few minutes,” Zen said.

“We started to worry a little bit about how we were going to get it off.”

Another Fever Fishing charter man, Jarryd England, said the beast’s jaw “inhaled the entire propeller”.

“And that’s a big engine,” he said.

All told, the terrifying boat bite lasted five minutes before the predator swam away — fishermen, sharks and motor unscathed.
