Chicago hit by tornado-warned storm

On June 13, a severe tornado warning hit the Chicago area as the National Weather Service warned of 2-inch hail.  A radar-indicated tornado was observed in the area by the National Weather Service, with a warning also for Cicero and Schaumburg.  O'Hare Airport asked passengers to go to designated shelters as high winds were recorded with gusts of up to 135 km/h.
