flydubai launches 30 daily ‘shuttle flights’ for the World Cup between Dubai and Qatar

Getting to the World Cup in Qatar this winter just got so much easier as flydubai launches 30 daily flights from Dubai.

The low-cost airline from Dubai has confirmed that it will operate 30 daily flights between here and Qatar during the World Cup. But they haven’t said when the tickets will go on sale or, crucially, how much they will cost.

Flight prices between Dubai and Qatar fluctuated earlier this year, with fares as high as AED 6,000

The current flydubai price for a return flight to Doha during the World Cup is AED 4,893. But let’s hope that comes a long way when the 30 daily flights are announced!

Sail into the World Cup in style aboard these luxury liners

The World Cup coming to the Middle East is a big deal, so why not go all out and make the trip memorable with a stay on one of these amazing cruise ships?

The two luxury liners have 3,800 cabins that can accommodate just under 10,000 football fans. And with dozens of pools, water slides, tennis and basketball courts and sea-view Jacuzzis, MSC Poesia and MSC World Europe liners are certainly luxurious.

Just like the prices, with a minimum stay of two nights in a double room from $358 including a breakfast buffet.

Should you be interested, the ships are docked in Doha’s West Bay, with rooms available from mid-November to early December. So the cruise ship option for the World Cup would only work for the group matches as the knockout games start in early December when the liners leave Doha. Yet we prefer to pay for a cruise ship given this one desert huts are on sale for $207 per night.
