Free skate rentals are now available at Toronto Union Station’s “largest” skating rink to date, the city says.
The rink is open until January 29 as part of Union Winter – Presented by TD.
In a statement Monday, the City of Toronto said Union Station is “once again the ultimate vacation destination” with music performances, Christmas shopping, eateries and free skating.
For those who want to skate with an “incredible view of the CN Tower,” the rink is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, the city said.

Time slots can be reserved online in advance, but are not required.
Free skating lessons are also given once a week.
The ice rink is closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
There is also a rinkside DJ on Friday and Saturday nights in December and January.
And there will also be musical performances at Union Station in December, the city said.
Meanwhile, the City opened some of its outdoor ice rinks last weekend.
