Midfielder Lucas Torreira has left Arsenal to join Turkish club Galatasaray permanently.
Ruguay international Torreira has been loaned to Atletico Madrid and Fiorentina for the past two seasons respectively.
The 26-year-old made 89 appearances for the Gunners after moving from Sampdoria at the start of Unai Emery’s reign in July 2018.
He was an unused replacement when the north London club defeated Chelsea in the 2020 FA Cup final, while winning LaLiga during his temporary move to Atletico.
“Everyone at Arsenal would like to thank Lucas for his contribution during his time with us,” the Arsenal website read.
“We wish Lucas and his family the best of health and happiness in their new chapter with Galatasaray.”
