Sunday morning the annual Mother’s Day classic was held in Geelong to raise awareness for breast cancer and money for research.
Local mothers gave up breakfast in bed with their families and went to Eastern Beach.
The turnout was large, because the event took place all over the country.
Mother’s Day Classic Foundation Chief Executive Zara Lawless said it’s remarkable to see so many women come together.
“To see this come back to life after two really challenging years, to see participants again at full power, in a sea of pink around Australia is truly extraordinary.”
