Musk hints at charging fees for government and commercial use of Twitter

Elon Musk said Twitter will still be free for regular users, but may charge a small fee for commercial and government use.

Musk wants to increase the number of users of the popular social networking platform in the United States.

“Twitter will always be free to regular users, but may charge a small fee for commercial and government use,” Musk said in a tweet.

Twitter did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Reuters.

And since last month, Musk has been talking about a lot of changes on Twitter. After recently acquiring the company, Musk said he wanted to improve the platform and add new elements.
