Police arrest New Hampshire man, second to be charged in connection with Martha’s Vineyard bank robbery – Boston News, Weather, Sports

TISBURY, MASS. (WHDH) — State police have arrested a New Hampshire man in connection with the robbery of a bank in Martha’s Vineyard, District Attorney Michael O’Keefe announced Saturday.

At 8 p.m. Friday night, authorities including state police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested Omar Johnson of Canterbury, NH after apprehending him in his car in New Haven, Connecticut. According to the prosecution, his charges include masked armed robbery with a firearm and conspiracy, all in connection with the Rockland Trust bank robbery in Tisbury, Martha’s Vineyard on November 17 this year.

On November 21, Miquel Antonio Jones of Edgartown had been indicted on an Accessory After the Fact charge in the same case.

O’Keefe said police are continuing their investigation.
