Sydney [Australia]May 12 (ANI): Kane Richardson, an Australian limited-overs pacer, has been signed to a contract by Queensland after he left South Australia to move to the Gold Coast with his family.
According to ESPNcricinfo, Richardson will fill the shoes of the injury-prone speedy Billy Stanlake who has left for Tasmania. Stanlake has not played a game since 2019 due to stress fractures in his back.
Aside from Richardson, Queensland has also added Gurinder Sandhu to their roster following his outstanding Shield season. The former sailor from New South Wales and Tasmania, who also played two ODIs for Australia in 2015, moved to Queensland in 2021 without a contract, but played six games and took 25 wickets at 7:16 PM, including two five-wicket hauls.
