Rosemead High School students must stay at home after possible shooting danger

Rosemead High School was closed Friday after a possible threat on social media prompted school officials to take action.

Out of great caution, officials decided to close for today because the threat posted referred to “RHS”.

They announced the closure Friday morning via a message to school staff and students.

The vague threat was reportedly made via Snapchat, but did not specify which “RHS” the suspect was referring to, leading a large number of schools across the country to share the same monogram.

A potential “juvenile suspect” was arrested early Friday morning in Raymondville, Texas.

This is a story in development. Come back for more information.
