The country’s longest-running consumer fashion event, Melbourne Fashion Festival stormed back into town this month – from March 3 to 12.
With a mostly IRL program, runways took over cultural and creative institutions across Melbourne – including the opening-night Gala Runway at Queen Victoria Market, the Ready-to-Wear runway series in ACMI’s Underground Gallery, and the Independent Runway at Collingwood Yards. It was a fierce celebration of Australian fashion.

The hand bags were small. The gloves were on. And green was having a moment. We also spied an excess of matching tailored sets, contrasting colors and slicked-backed hair.
