The Manchester Craft Beer Festival is all confirmed to return for 2022. The event, the second after last year’s inaugural festival, will once again be held at the Mayfield Depot on July 22 and 23.
It also been announced that iconic DJs Goldie, Norman Jay and David Holmes will be turning up with some records too. And as expected, a huge line-up of craft breweries will be heading to Manchester to show off their wares.
Among them will be Beak, Duration, Turning Point, UnBarred, Hackney Brewery, Siren, Double-Barrelled, Dark Star, Full Circle, Mondo, Timothy Taylors, North Brew Co., Brixton, Brew York, Vocation, Pastore, Alpha Delta, Kernel and Burnt Mill, along with celebrated Czech brewery Budvar.
Meanwhile, representing the city will be Manchester Union, Black Jack, Track, Marble, Pomona Island and Beatnikz. There will also be a host of food operators in attendance too, including guest chefs to be announced, as well as a new open fire-pit cooking concept with the emphasis on barbecue.
Greg Wells from organizers We Are Beer said: “After such a warm welcome last year, it was no question whether we’d return to Manchester. The city is home to many incredible breweries so it’s great to be able to bring everyone together to celebrate their contribution to the craft beer community!
“As well as local legends and newcomers, we’re excited to showcase international favorites and breweries from all over the UK. There’s really going to be something for everyone – beer lovers and even non-beer lovers, foodies, music heads, for those wanting a learning experience or simply a memorable night out! We’re very excited to be back.”
Non-beer options will be serviced by the likes of Tappd Cocktails, Jim & Tonic and Ascension Cider. The event takes place over five-hour sessions over the two days, from 6pm to 11pm on Friday, and then 11.30am to 4.30pm, and 6pm to 11pm on Saturday.
Tickets are on sale now, and cost £55 per session, with the ticket prices including all beer, and a special festival glass to take home too.
