Two 16-year-old boys have been stabbed to death at two locations about a mile apart in southeast London, the Metropolitan Police have reported.
The detective is investigating whether there is a connection between the two murders, which probably took place around the same time.
A police spokesman said officers were called in around 5.10pm on Saturday to reports of injuries in Sewell Road, Abbey Wood and Titmuss Avenue, Thamesmead.
At both scenes, they found a 16-year-old who had been stabbed. They were later pronounced dead.
