UK economy shrinks in March as prices rise

We take whatever growth we can get right now, and on the face of it, 0.8% growth in the economy over the first three months of the year is good by any normal standard and better than most comparable major economies of the G7 , some of which have already been contracted. It confirms a full recovery from the economic losses of the pandemic, albeit at a slower pace compared to the rest of those G7 countries.
