Polk County (Florida) Department of Tourism and Sports Marketing, known as Visit Central Floridahas announced a new strategy to be closer to the Canadian travel trade and media with a new representative based in Toronto, AT – Juanita Ariza from TM America.

Being closer to the travel industry is important, especially in the post-pandemic era, when travelers are looking for experiences that are closer to nature,” said Kris Keprios, senior sales manager for the Polk County Division of Tourism and Sports Marketing.” “As our inventory of attractions and accommodations grows, with more resorts, hotels, vacation homes and RV Resorts, it is essential to have a presence in the Canadian market.”

Winter Haven, Lakeland, Davenport, Lake Wales and Bartow are the most well-known towns in Polk County and home to limitless experiences for all types of travelers.
Sports are also popular in Polk County.
