WEATHER FORECAST: Severe Storms Possible in Eastern Colorado

DENVER (KDVR) — Temperatures will hit the top 70 degrees in Denver Friday with scattered afternoon storms.

Storms will erupt on the Front Range around 1 or 2 p.m. and slide quickly east across the plains.

There is a marginal and small risk of severe storms along and east of I-25. Large hail and high winds will be the main threats.

Temperatures will rise to 80 degrees this weekend with a 10% chance of thunderstorms every afternoon.

Thunderstorm chances increase Monday and Tuesday with high temperatures cooling down to the 1970s on Tuesday and Wednesday.
