Liquid Leisure activity park was evacuated earlier today and emergency services rushed to the scene, as lifeguards reportedly asked customers for glasses – to ‘find her underwater’.

An eyewitness said the child was at Liquid Leisure with a group of friends for a birthday party when she went under the surface.

She told Sky News that she saw the child go under the water and “didn’t come up again,” to which lifeguards rushed.

The mother, who did not want to be called by name, said, “At that moment the lifeguards came running.

“She was with a group of friends for a girl’s birthday.

“My daughter spoke to the birthday group.”

Members of the public were asked to call out the girl’s name on the beach in case she left the water, but received no response.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, a fire crew, a police helicopter, an air ambulance and a search and rescue boat were seen in the activity park about 30 minutes later trying to find the missing child.

But the witness said ‘no one has found her’.

One park-goer wrote on Twitter: ‘I was about to start a session at Windsor Liquid Leisure when it was announced a girl is missing, they don’t know if she’s missing in the water.

“Really, really pray that they find her.”

The water park is approximately 20 miles from central London and just 10 minutes from Heathrow Airport.

MailOnline has contacted Thames Valley Police and Water Park for comment.
