flydubai resumes flights to Abha in Saudi Arabia

  • The airline headquartered in Dubai will resume daily flights to Abha in Saudi Arabia from June 23.
  • The airline is expanding its route network to more than 100 destinations served by 64 Boeing 737 aircraft.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, June 3, 2022: flydubai, an airline headquartered in Dubai, today announced the resumption of flights to Abha in Saudi Arabia. The airline will operate daily flights to Abha from June 23.

flydubai operates more than 100 routes in 50 countries with a young fleet of 64 Boeing 737 aircraft. The airline recently resumed flights to Gassim, Hail and Tabuk and started flying twice a week to a new destination in Saudi Arabia, Al Ula.

flydubai has added five new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft to its fleet this year, with a further 17 by the end of the year to support its expanding network program. The airline will start flights on 10 additional routes from June 22, including flights to new destinations, Izmir and Pisa, as well as resuming flights to popular seasonal summer destinations such as Bodrum, Mykonos, Santorini and Tivat.

Flight information

From June 23, 2022, daily flights to Abha International Airport (AHB) will depart from Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport (DXB).

Business class return fares from DXB to AHB start at AED 3,800 and Lite economy fares start at AED 1,500. Business class return fares from AHB to DXB start at SAR 3,800 and Lite economy fares start at SAR 1,500.
