NS gas price drops by 10 cents per liter in 2nd decrease in as many days

The price of gasoline and diesel oil in Nova Scotia fell on Saturday after falling sharply the day before.

As part of a weekly price adjustment on Friday, gasoline and diesel prices fell by nine cents and six cents per liter, respectively.

At 12:01 a.m. Saturday, those prices fell 10 and 7 cents per liter, respectively, as a result of “significant shifts in the market prices of gasoline and diesel fuel,” according to the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board.

The minimum price of diesel in Nova Scotia on Saturday was $1.71 a liter, while gasoline sold for $1.63 a liter.
