Homicide detectives have cordoned off a street in Melbourne’s northeast after a woman died of her injuries following reports of an attack. At about 10:15 p.m., emergency services were called to Patrick Ave with reports of an attack, Victoria Police said. Ambulance personnel who arrived at the address found the woman with serious injuries. The woman, who has not yet been identified by police, died at the scene.
